Vinyl Feeding & Tracking

Why is my vinyl not feeding properly into the cutter?

Vinyl feeding problems are commonly caused by:

  • Dirty or worn pinch rollers
  • Incorrect roller alignment
  • Vinyl thickness outside the machine’s supported range

These issues often build up gradually and are easy to overlook.

Fix:

  • Clean pinch rollers regularly
  • Align rollers correctly
  • Load vinyl straight
  • Stay within supported material limits

Can worn rollers or cutter parts cause misaligned vinyl cuts?

Yes. Worn rollers, loose blade holders, or alignment drift can cause vinyl shifting during cutting. Many long-term users only notice this once finished products start misaligning.

Fix:

  • Inspect rollers and blade holders periodically
  • Replace worn parts early to maintain consistent accuracy
