Preview & Display Issues

Why does my cut file look jagged or rough on screen even though the measurements are correct?

This usually happens due to low preview or display quality settings in the software—not because the vector file itself is inaccurate.

Many cutting and design programs simplify curves in preview mode to reduce processing load. Even if the on-screen preview appears rough or pixelated, properly created vector files remain mathematically smooth and dimensionally precise.

What to do:

  • Increase display or preview quality in your software
  • Switch to outline or wireframe view
  • Zoom in to inspect the actual vector paths
  • Always perform a test cut before full production

👉 If the physical cut is clean, the file is working correctly.
